Satisfaction Not Guranteed

We all know that photography is all about light. When shooting landscapes, it was advised that the best time is during the golden hours. This is very frustrating since we have very limited time to execute what we visualize plus the Philippines doesn't have Daylight Saving Time (DST zone). 2 hours before sunset and 2 hours after sunrise. There's a total of 4 hours for you to work on which is very really hard.

This week, I almost come to the point that I will going to sell my gem (camera) and give up photography. I was thinking that photography will not work for me. I have a lot of inspiration but I am always failing with execution. I talked to a friend of mine who have the same passion and provided some tips and enlightenment regarding what we are doing. It helps a lot and knowing that you are getting supports especially with your loved ones.

Tonight as I am writing this, I have the optimistic value to pursue what nature and light has to offer. It requires planning, timing, effort, determination and a true devotion to be one with nature.

Shooting landscapes does not provide any guarantee.
This is all for the love of Light and Landscapes!

Learning Curve

I haven't posted for a month now and this is gonna be my first post for this month. I don't have any photo opportunities lately and out of boredom, I managed to process some of my shots from last year trip to Baler Aurora. This is my first crack with landscape photography. It one of my reason that I pushed to have digital single lens reflex camera to take advantage of the scene. For almost a year now, I am still stuck with the learning curve oh this art. I am getting little help with some tutorials online and some forum friends. Let me show you my first attempt with landscape photography.

Side Note:
Aurora province is lying across the Sierra Madre. A land between a vast ocean and group of mountains on its back. This province is a home to a beautiful rain forest but since it is located remotely, it is being taken advantage by some illegal loggers. It is sad to say that people are using the wealth of this earth but they are not paying it back.

Monochromatic Desire

This will be my kick starter. I am inclined with Landscape Photography lately that's why some of my post is related to it however, this is no typical photography blog. I joined some local forums to learn more about camera controls. I started on this hobby with one thing on mind which is "Defying the movement".

Since childhood years, I love Arts and Creativity. My visuals is so perfect yet I am trouble executing them. The Artistic Creativity may not be in my favor however, doing the things you love give the same hypnotic feeling.

I am presenting to you some of my perspectives about Black and White Landscape Photography.

...Arm Your Desire!

I know that it's a bit late to start my own blog. I am just fulfilling one my childhood dream which is to create a journal. Since I realized that I have more access to keyboard, so here I am taking an empty space on this world wide web hoping that will keep me frozen in time.

Boredom strikes for a bummer like me, so here it is. Welcome to my little space.

Much Love,
 Jieno
